Regular Scent Work Classes
Introduction to K9 Nose Work®
During this 5 week course, we will move at your dog’s pace, introduce the concept of the box game, and learn about reading your dog’s body language as the searches progressively get more complex.

This is a great class for you and your dog to have fun, build confidence and burn lots of mental and physical energy. Find out just how good your dog’s nose really is!

Scent Work Elements
This course is for those who have completed the Introduction to K9 Nose Work® course with us or at an equivalent class.
During this 5 week course, we explore the four 'elements' of scent work - interior and exterior searches, vehicle searches and containers.
You will learn about effective leash handling skills that help rather than hinder your dog and we introduce the concept of reward from the handler.
We may use different locations for each session and classes will not always be held at the same venue.

Introduction to Odour
This course is for those who have completed, at a minimum, the Introduction to K9 Nose Work® course with us or at an equivalent class.
Ideally you will have also completed our Scent Work Elements course, or your dog will be very comfortable with searching for food in various environments.
During this 5 week course, we will guide you and your dog in transitioning from food searches to searching for small quantities of essential oil, specifically birch.
This course includes a small scent work kit for at home practice.

Cost for this course is $300.
Level 1 - Scent Work Skills Builder
This course is for those who have completed our Introduction to Odour course or teams that are on Birch target odour.
​
Your dog will be very comfortable searching for Birch our in various environments and across all elements - containers, interior, exterior and vehicles.
During this 5 week course, we will cover a range of skills including but not limited to introducing new target odours, working with distractors, multiple hides and high and inaccessible hides.

We may use different locations for each session and classes will not always be held at the same venue.

Level 2 - Scent Work Skills Builder
This course is for those who have completed at a minimum, Introduction to Odour with us or at an equivalent class.

​​Ideally you will have also completed our Level 1 Skills Builder course, or your dog will be very comfortable searching for target odour in various environments and across all elements - containers, interior, exterior and vehicles.
During this 5 week course, we will build on the skills introduced in the Level 1 course, including but not limited to blank searches, suspended, buried and water hides and deep dive into how we as handlers can support our dogs to get the most out of each search. ​
